Broadcast - Television

For this blog I was supposed to watch a news program and answer four questions on it. I don't have cable so I don't get many news channels. Below are the questions and my answers. Enjoy!

1. What news show (or shows) did you watch?
1. I watched a re-run segment on the Casey Anthony case that was viewed on ABC on YouTube.
2. How would you classify this show? Local news, TV news magazine, entertainment news, sports news, etc.
1. I would classify this show as a debate and opinion on the news. 
3. Did you see any opinion being expressed? Please quote the instances in your answer. 
1. They were commenting on why she would do such a thing and what would have compelled her to do it, as well as whether or not she was innocent. People around the country believe she is guilty, and are very vocal in their opinions to have her locked away forever.  
4. Was this show effective in informing you about a topic? What did it do right? What could have been better?
1. The video was very informative, and helped me gain a better knowledge of the trial as well as the case.as I never payed any attention when it was first on the News.  It gave opinions on both sides of the case, as well as a lot of background information.  I believe ABC news did a very good job of portraying the story. It did drag on a little.
